High Value Products From Trimming Waste (Hvp-T)

Technology Outline

  • High grade gelatin and protein hydrolysate are the products made under this technology.
  • Developed high grade gelatin can be used as raw materials for food, pharma and laboratory applications.
  • Developed protein hydrolysate have multiple usage, they can be used in leather, agriculture or animal feed applications.

  • Techno-Economics :
    • Investment payback period around 3 years for a plant at processing capacity of 1 ton of trimming waste per year. Higher processing capacity will yield fast returns

Collagen Sheet(Wound Care)

Technology Outline

Reconstituted Collagen Sheet (RCS) is a dry sheet that can be stored at room temperature. Easy to wet back and exhibits excellent wound healing properties. Fish scales, abundantly available in India and worldwide

    • Reduce environmental pollution and same time value added products can be prepared.

Amiprojil-Paste/Powder

Technology Outline

AMIPROJIL-will be available in the form of both paste or powder

  • It is the product targeting all types of infected wounds
  • The product provide coolness and reduces the 0th hour pain and irritation
  • The ingredients are approved by FDA
  • The process of preparations employ green methods and does not generate any toxic intermediates
  • The product is cyto as well as hemo compatibility
  • The product accelerates healing in addition to combat the infections

Salient Features/ Highlights/ Advantages

  • The Burn or infected wounds have much irritation and pain. The early hours pain has not been addressed by the existing technologies.
  • The product AMIPROJIL target the early hours irritation and pain through its inherent cooling property

Business Case and Translation Status

Clinical Trails are under progress. (The technology is ready comme-rcialization).
